Samsung Galaxy Fold Delay got Delayed, full pre-orders cancelled:
(The Samsung Galaxy Fold delay has resulted in a loss of 88% of early adopters who pre-ordered the Smartphone since it’s unveiling.)
Ever since Samsung had issues with the display and cover of their new Samsung Galaxy Fold, we have been waiting for them to relaunch the smartphone. While they initially seemed confident that they would be able to sell the smartphone in June, it looks like that might not happen anymore. Samsung has once again delayed the device. The Samsung Galaxy Fold is not expected to release in July, time will tell whether they will keep their word. With this recent Samsung Galaxy Fold Delay, Samsung has lost 88% of the pre-orders for the device since its unveiling. Samsung is running out of time to release the phone before interest for it becomes an afterthought.
After multiple issues were reported by tech outlets who got early review units, it was revealed that Samsung’s shortcut fix for the display issue was to tuck the protective layer under the body so that it can’t be peel off that easily, but insiders have revealed that Samsung has been having problems implementing this solution. It is very likely consumers might have to wait until July before they can actually get our hands on the device. We also may be looking at a complete cancellation if Samsung is still not able to resolve the phones issues by the end of July.
With all these delays, Most retail partners that took pre-orders have decided to cancel all pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Fold due to an influx of customer complaints. Meanwhile, Samsung has been sending out emails to their customers asking them if they want to keep their orders or risk having them canceled for those that pre-ordered through the main Samsung.com website.
